I believe that TANGO is a stimulating tool which enhances the learning experience equipping students with lifelong learning skills, both academic and professional. Extending TANGO’s outreach would be an excellent way to develop links with other universities, enriching the experiences of visiting staff and international students. I would like to find more funding opportunities to continue developing TANGO, disseminating the project and looking for collaboration with other universities.
I also would like to participate in other joint projects with other universities, and other departments, building new partnerships to enhance the student learning experience, allowing both academics and students to share knowledge and learn from peers. During the summer of 2015 I researched the possibility of bringing to York the next Innovative Language Teaching and Learning at University Conference (InnoConf). I met and consulted with colleagues from other departments, as well as the InnoConf15 organisers at the University of Nottingham. In October 2015 I formally approached my HoD and the proposal was successful: InnoConf16 was held at the University of York on 17th June 2016 and I am thrilled to have been part of the organising team. The previous organisers used Twitter to promote the conference and following their lead, I opened an account and publicised the event through this social media app. I am now using Twitter and exploring its networking and educational potential. A peer reviewed volume including a selection of papers from InnoConf16: Enhancing Employability will be published in May 2017.
I am committed to keep developing online language learning materials while inspiring students and colleagues alike with new and innovative ways of teaching and learning, designing learning and assessment materials that are innovative, motivating and pedagogically stimulating and effective. I will continue to do my best to keep up and make the most of current technological advances and learning technology: attending networking meetings and conferences to meet like-minded people, share good practice to find out what other colleagues are doing and learn about new developments. I will keep on sharing my enthusiasm for languages and learning with my students and colleagues in my department, across the university of York and beyond.

I declare that, to the best of my knowledge, the statements and evidence included in this submission accurately describe my practice and are drawn from my own work, with the input and support of others duly and clearly recognised.
